For wheelchair passengers, our driver meets you at the ADA curb zone with the ramp deployed. You transfer directly from the airline wheelchair to our secured wheelchair van. For stretcher patients, the two-person crew coordinates with airline ground staff and meets the patient at the terminal curb or, when permitted, at the aircraft door. Chicago Midway Airport is approximately 18 miles from Olympia Fields, with drive times of 25 to 40 minutes. Midway is a single-terminal airport, which simplifies the pickup and drop-off process for wheelchair and stretcher passengers. The ADA-accessible loading zone is located on the arrivals level outside the main terminal exit, near the southwest corner of the building.
Midway is often the preferred airport for patients from the south suburbs because the shorter distance reduces both trip time and cost. A wheelchair van ride from Olympia Fields to Midway costs roughly $119 to $223 compared to $170 to $325 for the same ride to O'Hare.

Provide the patient name, pickup address, flight date and time, terminal and airline, and any special equipment needs such as supplemental oxygen or IV pole. For airport pickups, we use real-time flight tracking to adjust arrival based on actual landing time.
