Credentialing Process

Our Credentialing Standards

We hold every partner to the highest standard. When facilities and MCOs trust Dream Care Rides, they trust every driver in our network.

Step 01

Application & Documentation

Submit business license, insurance certificates (commercial auto $1.5M+, general liability, workers' compensation), W-9, and NPI documentation. We verify every document before moving forward.

Step 02

Driver Verification

Every driver undergoes a 7-year criminal background check, national sex offender registry check, motor vehicle record review, and pre-hire 10-panel drug screening. No exceptions.

Step 03

Certification Review

We verify CPR/First Aid, PASS wheelchair certification, defensive driving, HIPAA compliance training, ADA awareness, and patient sensitivity training for all drivers.

Step 04

Vehicle Inspection

Annual state safety inspection, ADA-compliant equipment verification (wheelchair lifts, stretcher securement), operational AC/heating, GPS capability, and on-board safety equipment including first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and PPE.

Step 05

Compliance Agreement

Partners sign compliance agreements covering HIPAA obligations, service level standards, no-show policies, incident reporting procedures, and ongoing random drug testing requirements.

Step 06

Ongoing Monitoring

Continuous compliance monitoring including random drug testing, annual re-credentialing, driver performance reviews, vehicle re-inspections, and incident tracking. Standards never drop.
