Curb-to-Curb

The driver pulls up to the curb at the pickup address and at the destination. The patient or their caregiver is responsible for getting the wheelchair from the front door to the curb. This is the lowest-cost option and works well for patients who have a caregiver present at both ends of the trip.

Door-to-Door

The driver meets the patient at their front door, assists with the wheelchair over the threshold, rolls them to the vehicle, and loads them via the lift. At the destination, the driver unloads the patient and rolls them to the facility entrance. The patient or facility staff handles the rest.

Door-Through-Door

The driver enters the patient's home, assists them into the wheelchair if needed, rolls them to the vehicle, loads via lift, drives to the destination, unloads, and escorts them through the facility to the reception desk or treatment room. On the return trip, the process reverses. This is the most comprehensive service level and the default for senior patients and patients with cognitive impairment.

What to Expect on Ride Day
