Medical transportation in Evergreen Park, IL is available through Dream Care Rides starting at $50–$60 (ambulatory), $60–$70 (wheelchair), or $350–$400 (stretcher) base per leg, plus mileage. Call (708) 505-6994 or book online for same-day and scheduled rides to OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center, Advocate Christ Medical Center, and 3 additional medical facilities, just 30 min from our Olympia Fields headquarters.
Evergreen Park is one of the few suburbs in this area with a hospital inside the village: OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center at 95th Street and California Avenue, home to a comprehensive cancer center and a family birth center. Advocate Christ Medical Center is about two miles west on the same street. Most Evergreen Park trips are short, but short does not mean simple for a rider in the middle of chemotherapy or recovering from surgery.
To book a medical ride from Evergreen Park, call (708) 505-6994 or schedule online at dreamcarerides.com/booking. We are primarily a private-pay provider. Medicaid accepted in select service areas — call (708) 505-6994 to check availability. We coordinate with discharge planners and case managers for facility-to-home and facility-to-facility transfers. Service is available seven days a week, including weekends and holidays; after-hours pickups carry a fee shown before you book.
OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center has anchored the corner of 95th Street and California Avenue for decades. Today it runs a 24-hour emergency department, a comprehensive cancer center with medical and radiation oncology, a family birth center, behavioral health services and outpatient imaging. For Evergreen Park residents, that means most routine hospital care is a very short drive away.
Short drives still need a driver. A rider leaving a chemotherapy infusion may be nauseated and unsteady. Someone coming home after sedation cannot legally drive and will not be released to a rideshare. A new wheelchair user may not yet have a vehicle that fits the chair. None of those trips are long, but all of them need someone who waits, helps, and gets the rider inside.
The same stretch of 95th Street leads west to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, about two miles away. Patients here often move between the two hospitals: a cancer diagnosis at Little Company of Mary, cardiac or transplant care at Christ. We run both routes regularly and know the entrances on each campus.
For the bigger trips, such as a specialist at the University of Chicago in Hyde Park, we plan around city traffic and keep the return flexible. The drive from Evergreen Park to Hyde Park crosses several busy corridors, and appointments there often run long. Rather than setting a fixed pickup that leaves a rider waiting in a lobby or rushing out of an exam room, we time the return leg to the end of the visit.
Local Insight
95th Street is the village's busiest road, with heavy traffic at Kedzie and at the California hospital corner in the late afternoon. Winter snow piles up along the curbs on side streets, so we ask riders to keep a path to the door clear, and drivers will help with the last few feet.

Evergreen Park is about 17 miles and 30 minutes from our Olympia Fields headquarters, and much of our work here is repetition: the same rider, the same short trip, week after week. A patient on a chemotherapy cycle at the Little Company of Mary cancer center might ride every Tuesday for months, and the thing that matters is a driver who shows up on time and does not rush someone who feels sick afterward. The distances are small. Most addresses in the village are within a couple of miles of the hospital, and Christ is only a little farther west. We keep your pickup notes on file, so the driver knows whether to come to the door, bring a wheelchair van, or send a two-person stretcher crew. Returns are booked as a separate leg and timed to when treatment ends. Call (708) 505-6994 to set up a single ride or a whole treatment plan.
